Hand in hand with MAN, Sinotruk appears at the 14th Shanghai International Automotive Expo with jointly developed SITRAK formally published
On Apr 19, Sinotruk and MAN jointly published truck brand cooperatively developed by both sides-SITRAK, and promoted the first product of the new brand-SITRAK T7H. The jointly participation of Sinotruk and MAN became the biggest lightspot on the 14th Shanghai International Automotive Industry Expo.Chairman of Sinotruk Group Ma Chunji, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus AG Pachta and president of Sinotruk Group Cai Dong attended the Brand Publishing Conference.Ma Chunji said, after the signing of cooperation agreement between Sinotruk and MAN in July, 2009, the both sides had forged strategic cooperative partners on many aspects such as technology, capital, marketing, administration and so on. At present, Sinotruk and MAN were seriously fulfilling the cooperation agreement signed by both sides, with smoothly progress on the project construction and domestic-made percentage. Today, the new type of heavy duty truck-SITRAK T7H representing cooperative achievement of both sides appeared, which was the best prove of the sincere and friendly cooperation leading to win-win between the two parties.Pachta said, the appearance of SITRAK launched a new era for MAN’s BRICS Strategy. This Chinese-made heavy truck was a perfect complement to current product line and the strategy of MAN. By the virtue of such a credible cooperative partner like Sinotruk, MAN would be more confident in realizing its global expand program.Cai Dong introduced the meaning of the brand SITRAK and the situation of its technology and production. He said, the vision of SITRAK Brand was galloping through out the territory of China and all around the world.
On the joint display platform of Sinotruk and MAN, Ma Chunji and Mr. Pachta unveiled SITRAK T7H together.The badge of SITRAK is artistically made up by three gingko leaves, symbolizing vigorous and endure vitality and powerful function for benefiting mankind. Its Chinese name Shandeka embodies the friendly cooperation between Sinotruk and MAN. The character “Shan” represents galloping among mountains and waters, the character “De” represents MAN Technology from Germany and the long-term strategic cooperation with MAN as well as “virtue”.
SITRAK T7H adopts the world most advanced MAN D20-430PS engine matching with Sinotruk 16-gear aluminium alloy housing transmission. The domestic made MAN single reduction rear axle boasts a velocity ratio of 3.08, equipped with SKF hub unit bearing, disk brake, spiral bevel gear of oerlikon type and filtering equipment for gear compound with in axle housing, which ensures no major service after 152k km in the aspects of structure and equipment. This truck also adopts domestic made MAN frame and front and rear parabolic tapered-leaf springs, which ensures an excellent load capacity and light weight. Sinotruk and MAN oriented SITRAK T7H as global heavy duty truck made in China. SITRAK T7H will form mass production capacity by the end of 2011, and will be put on market in 2012. It is predicted that the production and sales volume in 2012 will be 30,000 units, by 2018 it will reach 200,000 units.
Besides SITRAK T7H, Sinotruk also brought 8 new types. The biggest lightspot of the exhibited HOWO A7 tractor was Sinotruk 90 special fifth wheel designed according to the structure of rear suspension 5th edition tractor, which made the load capacity increase in a large scale. The rational optimized the fifth wheel connection equipment ensured higher reliability, which can meet the utilization condition of tractors of large-tonnage.
Sinotruk Jinan Commercial Truck Company emphatically promoted 2011 Style Golden Prince dump truck on this Expo with two versions of V1 and V5 to meet transportation demand of different working conditions. The cabs of 2011 Style Golden Prince dump truck are equipped with four-point suspension, which improve the driving safety and comfort in a large scale.
